"Well, I wasn't always so patient about it, especially at first." Steren found herself relaxing even more as she recognized, or thought she recognized, the woman's accent. Closer to home than a lot of other people on board, that much was for sure. "And you're not interrupting, no. Actually..." she shook her head a little. "I probably shouldn't be up here myself at this hour." Goodness only knew what that would do to her performance on the bridge tomorrow, but, if she wouldn't be sleeping anyway, then why not take a few minutes to speak with someone, right?
"It's good to know I'm not alone..." And that was when Steren's gaze caught someone else in the room, someone definitely off duty and trying to slip away. "Well look at that." she said quietly, so that only Coira would be able to hear her, though she did point in the right direction. "It looks like someone else was in here too..." Was this a starship lounge or some club for insomniacs? Either way, her playing had relaxed her enough that she found all of this kind of amusing somehow.
