"Sorry," Emily said as she realized that she grabbed his wound, "does it sting? Cause if you want I can make my hand cold, alleviate some of the pain?" What was Ollie thinking, he knew she was trying to be friends with Davian. Having known Ollie as long as she did she knew he had enough control. He attacked Davian totally unprovoked. She and he were going to have words. "I'm really sorry, I don't know what could have gotten into him. Good thing Mr. Kaden showed up...well I assume it was Mr. Kaden." She smiled up at him, "Well, I'm glad you didn't get mauled to death." Emily then stepped in and wrapped her arms around his waist resting her head on his chest in an embrace.
Emily glanced at the beers and the cigarettes. While she wasn't opposed to drinking, smoking was a big no for her. Davian could it was his life, but she'd politely decline if he offered one to her. She then stepped closer and laughed a little at his comment about not caring about the rules. She stared at the board and listened to his words. Her breath caught and she tried to focus on breathing and not freezing. Just relax. The shivers that she had at the dance were racing through her, no pause between them.
When he whispered against her ear she shut her eyes and trembled against him. Why did she feel this way around him. Was it the idea of it being somewhat forbidden...dangerous. What girl didn't enjoy flirting with danger every now and again.
Emily opened her eyes fixing them on the board but quickly flicked her eyes to see Davian out of the corner of her eye. She looked back at the board, "Nice...and easy." She gave a toss and it landed on one of the larger sections surrounding the bullseye. "Was that...okay?"
