She was a were? Ashton sniffed the air to confirm, and sure enough, the little blonde girl smelled of air. He turned up his nose, not necessarily disliking Sara because of that fact, but being prepared to be pushed around like all his previous were experiences. Not only was Sara a were, but Oliver was one as well, judging by his smell.

Suddenly Ashton was much more reluctant to let Emily be taken from him, but it was already too late. He shot Oliver a look of warning - one the werejag had once seen on the face of a dragon during the Wendigo attack - but allowed Emily to leave his side and go to him. His threat was clear enough in his expression for one who was also a predator himself.

Sara nudged Oliver towards Emily subtly, "You guys have fun! See you after the dance!" She encouraged before practically skipping to Ashton's side and taking his arm.

Ashton made an effort not to recoil.
