Emily and Ashton and OPEN
Emily paid no mind to the way he stared at her. She had hung around him since she figured out his secret to be used to the way he analyzed pretty much everything he wasn’t sure about. Emily was sure that all her touches were a little new to him since he had such a reaction about hurting someone. As she’s mentioned before she was trying to reassure him she trusted him and he didn’t scare her.
She gave a little smile pleased at how fast he caught on, “There, you got it.” Emily let out a little surprised squeak when he pulled her closer but let it dissolve into a little giggle. If anyone questioned her she’d deny that her cheeks flushed slightly being so close to him. What could she say, although she just thought of Ashton as a friend he was quite dishy. She had heard that word in a radio interview with Georgia Moffett when she was talking about her then future husband David Tennant, her favorite doctor. She’d agree that David Tennant was indeed dishy, but that was beside the point. To ease the awkwardness she moved her hands from his hips to her shoulders. To avoid him mimicking that she chose to explain in a low voice, “Keep your hands on my hips, when dancing that is where the boys keep their hands, girls put their hands on the boy’s shoulders. You’re catching on quick, good job.”
Emily perked up at his question about who her friends were. With a little laugh, “Well that could take a while, I think to a degree I think I’m friends with most people at this school, but if I have to name a few,” she let her eyes scan around the room, “Well Valentin, Garrett to a degree, Mickey…sort of…he gave me a nickname so I guess. Uh….I know Kana through a friend, Kylie, Sara, of course Ollie, Craig, but I don’t see him here, and….I think Davian would fall into the friend category…at least we’re getting there. Why do you ask? If you don’t like any of them we don’t have to talk to them…its totally okay...I don’t want you to feel uncomfortable.”
