Waterfall: Ambriel and Davian - CLOSED
And there he was, the Beau of the Ball. A little manipulation went a long way in tricking Ambriel to come to the dance just to ensure there wasn't a demonic influence over the rest of the students. Noble bird. Davian smirked to himself and approached, planning on starting in on the angel in the water with some joke about whether or not the water would run off his back like a duck, but instead, Davian paused.
Ambriel had his hand outstretched, fingers touching the waterfall and when Davian saw his expression, he felt as though something hammered into his chest. Ambriel looked like Davian had never seen him before - as all their other encounters had been angry and confrontational ones. The blonde boy looked legitimately angelic, peaceful... happy.
Davian shrank back, the blustering surety of his earlier troublemaking spirit gone in a rush that he was left feeling empty in the rift. He was unworthy to interrupt such a scene and ruin, utterly destroy, the angel's moment. In all of his life, Davian had never seen someone so filled with wonder and enjoyment at such a simple thing as a waterfall. He was beautiful. The demon backed up in retreat several more steps before turning away with hunched shoulders to go find something else to do and left the angel to his discovery.
