Waterfall: Ambriel and OPEN
At first impression, Ambriel was pleasantly surprised by the dance. There was no fornicating, no binge-drinking, no brawls inspired by excessive drinking of alcohol. It seemed a rather tame affair. Sure enough, the gentlemen and young women were all showing a bit too much skin, but Ambriel had imagined far wilder things. He was certain there would have been sinful shenanigans, but after a bit of inquiring, a harried teacher had assured him that the drinks were entirely without alcohols.
Tonight, nobody would lose their inhibitions, he would make sure of it.
Ambriel had stolen a drink and was sipping on it - it was pleasantly sweet and refreshing - as the teacher tried to direct him away to some other students. That's when, beyond the dancefloor, Ambriel first really noticed the waterfall. He had been focused on the students, not their surroundings.
It was beautiful.
Ambriel had not dressed up. He was wearing a loose-fitting, white t-shirt and long, army-green cargo pants, topped off with his trademark flipflops. He slipped out of those when he arrived at the pool, wading into the water. The cuffs of his pants got wet, but the angel didn't notice. He stopped by the waterfall, looking up with wonder. He reached out, his fingertips slipping into the wall of water.
