Thread : Blood Sugar Sex Magik
WHO: Davian and Craig
WHEN: Wednesday night / Thursday morning, 3 a.m.
WHERE: beside the graveyard
WARNINGS: sex gonna happen
Late Wednesday morning, Craig had made an unannounced visit to the demon's dorm room. From what little he actually knew of the demon, he would still be sleeping, so Craig didn't even knock, he just left the small square cardboard box at his door. Inside were instructions for later. Craig had been specific to a fault, in his instructions for Davian and for his planning in general. If only Craig put as much thought into if he should do something as he did about how to do it.
The instructions included a few other items as well. There was a round piece of plain chocolate the size of a marble, to be eaten anytime between 6pm and midnight (but no other food or drink after midnight!). Also, Davian would find a plain, thin hooded robe, black in color. He was instructed to wear that, and only that, for later that night. Lastly, Craig had included directions to where they would meet, at two fifty a.m., hopefully giving enough time in case Davian ran a few minutes late. The small grassy area between the cemetery and the woods, just out of sight from the school buildings, would be their meeting place for their dark deeds.
For better or worse, Craig's doubts about doing this had faded from his mind over the past day or two as he researched and prepared. He had managed to get back into the restricted section of the library, only for a couple minutes, taking advantage of the librarian going in and out from the library to gather up textbooks from some of the classrooms. He'd quickly found what he'd needed, and from there had been able to solidify his plans.
That same morning after visiting Davian, Craig walked out to the woods, going into it and walking along it's edge until he got to the graveyard. He made the preparation he'd needed to there, some rituals to prepare the land they would be using, and spreading out some grasskilling product in a very specific pattern on the lawn.
Once the preparations were finished, then it was time for the hardest part, the waiting. Craig tried to read, study, relax, sleep, but he couldn't shake his nerves, or stop his mind from racing. He was about to do some very powerful magic tonight, dangerous magic, magic that could keep his loved ones safe, but could prove very harmful to himself. In addition to that, he was giving up his virginity to a demon, an act that he speculated would substantially strengthen the results his magic.
Craig ate an early dinner, not eating or drinking anything after, save for a chocolate just before midnight. To help calm his nerves, he smoked up a few times, but again, forced himself to stop right before twelve. Those hours between midnight and two were the worst for him, seeming to drag on forever. He felt relieved and energized when he finally saw that it was two o'clock, and began to get ready to go.
He left the Sphinx dorm and secreted off into the woods the same way he had before. In case he was seen, he didn't want to be broadcasting where he was really going. The going through the woods was much more difficult at night, even with a fair bit of moonlight to help direct his steps some. He took his time, moving slowly. The last thing he would want is to stumble over a tree root in the dark and twist his ankle, or worse. Though Craig kept nervously glancing at the time on his phone as he moved, he needn't have worried. Craig emerged from the woods with plenty of time to spare.
The witch began to prepare. Before leaving the cover of the treeline, he pulled his own black hooded cloak from his bag, stripping off his clothes and donning that garment. He then went out into the grass, pleased to see that the grass had wilted in the design he'd made, a large circle with lines crossing through it in a specific pattern. Craig produced seven red candles from his bag, placing them around the edge of the circle in specific spots and lighting them. He brought forth two plates, putting a dozen chocolates on one, the other plate getting only three chocolates, differentiated from the others with a dollop of colored icing on the top of each. A few other items were produced, a book, a couple of small bowls, a pocketknife, and a large, undyed pure wool blanket, which he spread out in the center of the circle.
Craig looked at his phone again, seeing that the time was nine minutes until three. He looked nervously toward the school, hoping Davian would not be late.
