It was freeing to not have anything more to do for the rest of the week. Well, nothing except perhaps getting a dress. She would probably stay until the dance at least, so it only made sense. She wandered onto the fair grounds since she had not gotten a chance to get out to see what all the fuss was about yet. Now that she was free from work and since it seemed Dallas was still busy with his sister, she was simply on her own. She hadn't really thought anything of it at first, what with the fact they did have to turn grades in and all, but now she was truly noticing the loneliness that she hadn't felt since she first arrived. He had sort of been around her nearly every day in some way, so with him suddenly having to focus on someone else, she just had begun to miss him. She understood, of course, family comes first and all. Her human family was gone as of some time ago, but she would still see her feé parents every now and then. She didn't know what having a sibling was like, but she imagined that having one visit would be quite similar to having her parents visit. A great deal of time focused primarily on them, and not having the time for many others; of course, she would probably have introduced her parents to Dallas. He had yet to do that.
She shook the strangely glum thoughts out of her head. She was supposed to be having some fun today. It was finally her day off. No classes, no longer having to be completely focused on preventing Ambriel and Davian from killing each other(well she would still try and stop that, but hopefully the last time the two of them met would hold them off for a while), and she wasn't due to be in Bordeaux until Sunday. This was her time to relax. Maybe she would even play some of the games. They looked simple enough, though she had always heard of the rumors that circulated having to do with carnival games. Still, they looked fun to at least try, and of course some of the food looked delightful, even if a bit too sweet. She was determined to make this a good day.
