It had been a rushed ordeal, getting to Teddy's room. Caleb had been working on his car and he'd managed to set the alarm for AM instead of PM. He finally realized what was happening and rolled out from underneath the Oldsmobile with just enough time to catch a quick shower and not much else. Caleb's hair was still damp and his t-shirt clung to his shoulders as the flip flops confirmed his arrival down the hallway.
He saw the note before he could read and when he finally did catch the words, he made sure to jiggle the handle so it moved and the door shook a little bit to let Teddy know he was coming. Being the realistic sort, Caleb figured the note meant that Teddy had taken out his hearing aids as to not be affected by his siren's call, what little there was. He was grateful for that, actually.
While he didn't know how they'd actually communicate, Caleb was looking forward to the challenge, and the reward.
Opening the door, he gave teddy a wave as the blond's fingers fell through those golden locks. Caleb's eyebrows rose playfully, having researched enough to sign [Hi] with little difficulty.
