Barclay liked Nazar. It was a large shop and had plenty of items, but it didn't look dingy or suspect like most magic shops. It was clean, well-lit and prettily organized. This probably helped with the spiritual crowd, the wannabe wiccans who thought magic was caused by thinking really positive thoughts and burning incense.
Barclay reminded himself that, in a way, they were right. Magic was a tool, a way to shape the world according to your thoughts. However, you had to know how to tap into that magical energy for it to have some actual effect. Most people didn't know that.
Barclay strolled on over to the display cabinet, wanting to replace some crystal that had exploded during one of his rituals. And then, he was something.
