Who: Emily and Oliver(jaguar)
What: Spotted!
Where: Outside Sphinx dorms
When: Thursday (backdated)
He still didn't understand why the moon didn't go away. There were times when he would just let go of control and just become the beast. Roaming through the woods hunting for something to eat, that time that he found Sara and played with her a bit, or simply relaxing, not having to worry about classes or any of those things that humans had to worry about. The problem was when he was in control, he kind of got lonely. Ollie as a human was an extremely social guy, but the beast within preferred to simply move around on his own. Even if there were other jaguars at the school, it was unlikely he or they would cross paths, unless one was a female, but that was a completely different situation.
Every so often, when he caught her scent, the jaguar would follow this one girl around. He was fairly sure she hadn't seen him yet, but even his beast side seemed to want to check on her. He kept checking on her, wanting to make sure she was safe. He knew that the wolves were more aggressive than he was, so his human side wanted to be sure that he was around to protect her if any of them decided to try anything. After finding her scent, he would only leave when hunger struck. Even the control that he had gained wouldn't be able to stop the beast from hurting someone if they were the only food around.
On this night (or possibly day, he wasn't sure) he had caught her scent again. He had just finished eating when he noticed the scent. It was her again, and she was close. Swiftly and silently he raced through the trees until he found her. He had left the woods, so he kept close to the ground to avoid detection. She was not prey, but he wasn't really sure what she would do. She knew what he was, so it wouldn't be a shock or anything; however, if she thought he was someone else, it was entirely possible she could be frightened.
When he got to a decent place to keep an eye on Emily, he froze as his instincts told him to do. Typically this would be the part where he would await for the right moment to spring out before his prey got away, but she was not his prey in that regard. She was just someone he was wanting to keep safe. She was also his, but... wait... no that wasn't right. Oliver scolded the beast for thinking that. She was a human, she belonged to no one. Especially not Trent. The thought of Trent combined with his present state caused a low growl that stirred the silence of the night.
