Re: House Kitsune: Darius, Valentin & Open
Sybil, who had been quiet because she thought Mr. Graff preferred it that way, was happy to talk. She'd been starved for conversation for quite some time. "No, Mr. Prose's mind is his own. When he becomes more practiced, he may share things with me. For now, sometimes I get impressions, but I did not know of you." Sybil suspected she could force her way into Mr. Prose's mind if she had to, but it seemed to her an unthinkable act of violence.
"As for the Roman soldier, he has also always been there, but he wasn't awake. He's always been..." she paused trying to think how to put it delicately, "quite firm in his convictions. It's a pity, really, he can be quite interesting when enticed into pleasant conversation. But for Mr. Prose's sake, let us hope he falls back asleep again after tonight. He's a bit much for a novice sensitive to handle.
"As for being—how did you put it? Unfazed. That's a nice turn of phrase. Yes, I was unfazed by your nature, because I already knew of vampires. I was a student here when I was alive. House Sphinx, in fact. Too clever by half." She smiled to herself as she recited her house's motto, reminiscing fondly.
