Bert and Dallas
Bert turned around, away from the school, one last time. He felt a bit of relief this time as he did it, his will lining up with the will of whatever dark force was keeping them away from the school.
He pulled out his own phone as they started to walk. Bert bated text messaging, took too long, so he simply called his housekeeper. He kept the conversation short, letting her know he'd be having at least one guest, maybe more, and to prepare beds and bring in a variety of food. Hanging up, he shoved his phone into his pocket. He hadn't thought he'd be having guests so soon after moving in. He felt glad to have Mrs. Hart at his service.
