Almost instantly it wasn't difficult to see the stark contrast between one black dragon and whatever colour dragon Callidora was. She seemed positively enthused at the idea of being around people whereas Ashton had always seemed more withdrawn, but Trent supposed that was as a direct result of how he'd been raised. Seeing her beam at him wasn't... unwelcome it was just taking some getting used to, especially as he was more accustomed to being scowled at or being given a distinctly unimpressed look. Though to be fair to Ashton he had started smiling more towards the end, even if in recent days their friendship had been pushed to its breaking point.
And then she was touching him, easily and freely, fingertips gliding over the rings he chose to wear and her grip wasn't unyielding, he could feel the give. One small tug and he'd be free, but there was no need for that, given that she released him a moment later apparently content with the fact she'd touched the rings.
"Thanks," he said with a smile before he noticed the ring she was twisting, the large amethyst catching the light and engaging the part of Trent's brain that liked pretty things. It wasn't as large as say a dragon's would be but it was there all the same, especially when it came to silver, the same silver which he removed when around TJ or any other werewolf friend.
Trent smirked a little and reached out in much the same way as Callidora had, letting his touch find that ring and his thumb smooth over the gemstone. "I think you're goin' about it just fine, Callidora." Of course the name as beautiful as it was felt kind of stilted to Trent, a little old. "Can I call you Calli?"
