Callidora's lips curled up into a smile that was warm and genuine and delighted that he had answered her in such a cordial fashion. She curled her fingers around his hand as he shook hers and that smile became the most delighted grin, the expression even lighting up her eyes and her happiness at the simple action seemed to just radiate out of her. She thought she smelt a spike in him, of something like fear along with a jump in his heartbeat, but she had not threatened and did not think that she would be the source of such a reaction and as such she ignored it.
Of course, she was distracted a second or so later by the silver that pressed against her skin. She tilted her head, almost like a bird spotting something shiny, and her attention narrowed down onto the ring, wetting her lower lip. Her eyes flicked up to look at Trent for a moment before she turned his hand in her touch- not tightening it at all so he could still pull away if he needed to- her own rings glinting in the light of the shop as she ran the pads of her forefingers over the ring.
"This is pretty," she said with a soft smile, touch and eyes moving over the silver that clad the teenager's fingers before she looked up at him. "They're all pretty." She let go of his hand a moment later, seemingly content at having just touched the silver and having run her touch over it. She drew her hands back to herself, twisting a ring that sat on her left index finger around, it was set with a large amethyst.
She grinned at him again, "I'd like to be friends... Trent, please?" She ducked her head a second later, "I will admit that I have not had much practise at making friends. I worry that I am going about it the wrong way..."
