Callidora watched his fingers as they wandered across the litany of rings she had on, but that was all she did, she just watched. She didn't snap or snarl or tense, having decided that this human wasn't about to try and take her things away from her. He, like her, seemed content to just touch. That was enough. Even for Calli who was coveting his thumb ring a litle bit, she felt that she would be content if she could just touch it every now and then.
Her eyes flicked up to him when he chuckled, liking the sound. She had heard a lot of laughter from humans but not such a quiet type. Blue gaze caught and held Trent's for a moment before she smiled again, the expression curling across her lips and then up into her eyes.
"You mean I could keep you? As a friend? I think I would like that. I learned recently that 'to keep' someone does not mean to have them as a pet, therefore I would very much like to keep you as a friend." she said, nudging the plate a little closer to him, "Eat, please."
