"Lucky," Mickey said. While his body temperature was always a few degrees hotter than others, his body didn't deal with long bouts of cold. It made him feel as if he were suffocating, as if the cold were draining his energy. Mickey needed sunlight to thrive.
Mickey knew perfectly well when people didn't want to talk about things. He complied. "So, the Academy isn't that bad," he said. "It's a cool place, and the dorms are pretty sweet, I'm telling you. You want another beer?"
