A strange tingle shot down her spine as he touched her leg. For a split second the glow of her fox ears appeared, but the ears had vanished before anyone might have seen. Her pencil had charred marks on it now as well. She closed her eyes and took a sip of her drink again. While she did this, she was hoping that he didn't see that. She tried to focus on the drawing a bit more, she had to get control of herself.
To his question she gave a shrug. "Haven't been here long enough to decide," she told him; however the whole not having to deal with step parents thing was nice, but that was something she was keeping to herself. She kind of didn't want people to ask too many questions about her past. It was always difficult to explain.
