Craig and open
Though he'd hardly been bored during his break so far, Craig had a feeling he was missing out on something. He'd spent a lot of time alone, not all of it, but a lot. He knew it would do him good to be a little more social, so when he saw the mention of a party in town, the witch decided to go check it out. The idea of meeting more new people was appealing to him even though it being an unfamiliar setting did make him feel a bit nervous.
The nerves did indeed flare up as he showed up to a house that looked to be overflowing with people his age being loud and boisterous. Craig could feel his heart pounding in his chest and found himself sinking into old familiar habits, tapping his fingers nervously on his pantsleg, not being able to help turning the doorknob thrice before entering the large home.
Craig didn't see anyone he knew immediately, which didn't help how he was feeling. He navigated his way through the busy rooms and into the kitchen, getting a beer for himself when he was invited to. He felt a little calmer with something in his hand and decided to explore around the home some. It was large and decorated modernly, in a kind of style he wasn't used to and seemed a little odd to him. He noted that the family, the kids especially seemed to be huge sports fans, something he never really understood himself. Craig was most disappointed when he found a small, lone bookcase in the basement that only had a few old self-help books and some sports biographies in it. He kept a safe distance from the noisy kids playing the games down there and resigned himself to go back upstairs and try to find something to do when he heard someone else coming down the stairs.
