Kana had gotten a bit bored at the school, so when she heard about the party, she figured why not? As per usual though, she had simply gotten a drink and spent most of her time outside with her sketch book. Parties were good for inspiration since everyone tried to look their best anyways. Some people looked great, some people looked like morons, but she figured that was pretty much a normal thing.
She had chosen one of her full skirt dresses for the night. It was a somewhat shiny black cloth lined with shimmering silver borders along the bottom and arm holes. They silver had Japanese kanji stitched along it. If anyone actually tried to read it, they would read the story of a fox who ran away. It was her halfway attempt at being ironic. Across her waist she wore a bright red sash, an experiment of hers. The color went well with the silver and black, and the goal was to draw attention to the center of the dress so that the whole outfit would be noticed at the same time.
She had already had a few guys come and try to talk to her, but as she didn't show much interest in them (naturally wanting them to leave her alone) they all wound up getting distracted by the girls who were wearing skimpier outfits.
