Haunted Hydra House: Galad and Pavel
The haunted house was one of Galad's favorite Halloween traditions at the school. It used to be the fox hunt, but now that he was an Expert and a Mentor, he couldn't participate. The haunted house stood out to him not because it was smartly decorated or had any theatrical value, but because there were people inside it waiting around corners and in shadows trying to scare him.
Galad loved a good game of hunt. The downside was that most of the students in Hydra who manned the haunted house weren't very good at playing. They breathed loudly, they smelled obviously, and their attempts to blend with shadows or move silently were laughable. Galad could spot them before they spotted him. So, to get the most out of the haunted house, he'd snagged Pavel to run through it with him.
Presumably to Galad, Sasha was working inside somewhere and they might run into him, which could be fun, but if not, Galad would still enjoy finding out how easily the fae boy jumped.
"Scared?" He whispered to Pavel as they waited in the line outside to be let into the dorm. Screams could be heard coming through the door when it opened and the next group was allowed to go in. Galad's eyes were positively glowing purple with his anticipation. To vent some of his excess energy, he punched Pavel in the arm.
