Thread: End of a honeymoon, beginning of a new life WHO: Felicity and Galadari WHEN: August 2 WHERE: Austria
Inside an historic and well kept hotel at the heart of Vienna, two elves, recently married, shared a room. Galad was sitting in a chair across from the bed, reclined back, his long hair swept out of his eyes that were now the hue of amethysts. His skin under the light silk shirt was its natural deep blue, so dark it seemed black in the shadows and only showed its blue tint when under a light. Galad watched without hardly blinking as, in the bed, Felicity slept.
His wife was certainly showing her pregnancy now. The little round bump on her belly was growing their child, their future. Galad had no doubts that he would've eventually married Felicity had there not been a child conceived, but it was because of the child that they were married now, that they would be spending every night together their last year at the Academy, and that he could now look upon his wife and pour his whole heart into her. He loved her and their unborn baby so much that it caused him physical pain.
On the bed was a tray of food waiting for Felicity. Her favorite breakfast pastries and fresh fruit. Galad had seen to it that it would be ready for her and had personally gone out to the cafe that made the pastries fresh that morning. He still wore his clothes from the trip, but his feet were bare and his shirt unbuttoned.
And so he sat and watched, enjoying these quiet hours of the morning as the sun came up and filtered bright rays through the curtained windows. The breeze blew softly against the sheer fabric and the sounds of the streets below as the city woke up became louder. Any second Felicity would open her eyes and grace him with a look that would sear into his soul. Until then, Galad would watch and stay in this bubble of time they'd stolen for themselves. Soon enough they'd have to return to their lives. Return to school, return to the duties of a Baron and a Baroness to me. The honeymoon away from it all would soon come to an end.
