Elitch Gardens Part 1
The past few days in Colorado had been slightly different to Sasha’s previous visit. When they returned to Pavel’s family home everyone was out or busy, getting ready for the many fae that would soon be arriving. It meant they could spend the afternoon in Pavel’s room with little to no disruption, only heading downstairs for dinner when they were called.
Later on they had returned to the fae’s bed, peeling one another’s clothes off with less urgency than before. Thanks to their busy afternoon and the summer heat they took things more slowly that night; it was different, but in a way Sasha wanted to do again...when they had the energy.
Pavel slipped an arm around him before the half-demon could head back to his room. The fae’s lips brushed against his neck, asking - perhaps even commanding - Sasha to stay. Had he been less sleepy he might have been more reluctant, but he reasoned that sharing a bed once wouldn’t do any harm.
But once had turned into twice, had turned into three times now. It was difficult to say no. Sleeping next to another person took him back to his time in the commune when everyone slept together in one room. It felt safe. And of course there was the added bonus of not having to sneak up and down the hallway early in the morning or late at night.
Perhaps it was the act of sharing a bed that normalised their day to day contact as well. Every now and again Pavel’s hand would take rest on Sasha’s hip, or the half-demon would lean into the fae; neither pushed the other one away. Being playful was more fun if you were also more tactile which was something else the pair was slowly exploring.
After getting back to Pavel’s home the two teens retired to his room for the rest of the day, only leaving for meals. That night, unexpectedly, Sasha ended up staying the night, exhausted from their day of fun. A couple days passed and it was time to go to the amusement park. Yulia dropped the boys off and would return for them later. When they entered the first thing they were met with was the carousel, which they decided to give a go before some of the more actual roller coasters. Pavel kept finding himself glancing over at Sasha, wanting to make sure he wasn’t bored.
The day went on, a few roller coasters- but none that went straight up and back down, a few snacks and one water ride, which left them both wet- though Pavel slipped his arms around Sasha to share his warmth and help dry him off as they watched other people get wet from a safe distance. He thought Sasha might be worried about his hair or clothes as the teen did tend to obsess over that stuff more than he did, so he tried to assure him, “Sun is out so we will dry fast… and even still, you look very... “ The Fae found himself stumbling over his words a little. “We should get wet together more often.”
Normally Pavel’s sister and her friends accompanied them on outings, but on the day of the theme park visit they’d been dropped off to spend the day by themselves. Rollercoasters and fast food had filled up most of their time so far, but they’d also been in the arcade. Since Sasha couldn’t swim the idea of going on a water ride worried him, but Pavel assured him they wouldn’t be in the water and that there wouldn’t be that much of it, except for the splash.
The splash and its subsequent soaking were much bigger than the half demon had expected, so they went to sit in the sun to dry off. Sasha didn’t argue when Pavel wrapped his arms around him, leaning into the fae as they watched other people getting wet just as they had minutes ago.
“Very what?” Sasha questioned, picking up where Pavel had trailed off. He turned to glance at the fae, his wet ponytail brushing against the top of his t-shirt. Luckily he’d had the foresight to bury his face into Pavel’s chest before the splash that soaked them hit, so the front of his hair and his makeup were fine. “If you wanna get wet with me you should come with me to the shower tomorrow morning instead of sleeping in.” The half-demon smiled and gently squeezed the fae’s thigh with his tail. “Unless it’s too much effort...”
