At those words, Alicia now had Cascada's undivided attention. "I never thought you to be an idiot," she snapped, "Someone who has been fooled would not know they had been fooled. That is entirely what it means to be fooled."
"Let her go!" A commanding voice spoke from behind Cascada. Bushara had arrived. She wore a dark violet toga-esque dress with a golden chain wrapped around her waist and a golden circlet on her head. She was glaring at Cascada, though to Cascada's annoyance her eyes held no sense of recognition.
A flash of anger crossed the younger djinn's face as she stared at her older half sister. "She's not the one being held prisoner right now, Bushara," Cascada smirked, "However, I'd like to go ahead and get something out of the way right quick so that maybe she won't be a problem later."
"I do not know who you are, but believe me when I tell you that if you attempt to harm her, you shall need more than that ring to protect you," Bushara declared as she continued to glare at the other girl.
"I wish for you to tell her what you did to Alim Terra," Cascada said, "You remember him, right? Our father."
Bushara did her best to keep her face neutral at first, but the moment the comment "Our father" was said, her glare faltered. She then looked to Alicia as though an invisible hand was turning her head. "I had to kill him in order to stop him from hurting anyone else," she answered the question, "To prevent him from trying to find you." Her eyes met Alicia's for a moment before she remembered the phrase the other girl had said. "What do you mean, our father?" Her voice was no longer the same commanding voice as she had begun with. Now she sounded closer to how she had sounded when she was at school with Alicia.
"I also wish for you to tell her what you did to Gisela Vela!" Cascada shouted, no longer holding her calm. In fact it was now taking everything she had to prevent herself from crying.
"She was told not to return to our domain ever again," Bushara said, though now she was confused.
"Liar!" Cascada yelled, "Tell the truth!"
"That is the truth," Bushara told her. She glanced now at Alicia asking the non verbal question, "What is going on?"
