The attack had been completely unexpected, so Cascada was still in her solid form when it occurred. She had the thought to shift quickly, yet she was uncertain if the ring would shift with her. She wasn't entirely sure why the which hadn't used the one chance she had, or ever would have, to use a spell, but it did make things a bit easier for her. Since the girl was foolish enough to challenge her like this while she, Cascada, held the advantage.
"I suppose I should have taken care of this sooner," Cascada said, regaining her balance and composure. She considered her options. Bushara would be there in only a matter of moments, but she still needed to stall until then. She wasn't sure of the extent of the power she possessed now, and therefore she chose her next words as more of a bluff than anything else. If it was within the realm of possibilities then all the better. "I wish," she began as she thought how best to formulate the words, "For Bushara to kill herself if you try anything more than non magical conversation with me."
"Now then," she continued with a devious smile, "Shall we behave now?"
