Felicity chuckled when Van mentioned the free trip to California. At the mention of Farrell, she simply rolled her eyes, though it wasn't done dramatically. The film teacher knew quite a bit but Felicity had realized quickly how she had long outgrown what he could teach her. It was why she ended up changing electives during mid-year when she could. Van had give him a literal and proverbial middle-finger with his own film and the success it drew.
"Yes, Galad mentioned it to me," Felicity said and then asked, "It's a thing that's happening. You and Gil. A kelpie and an elf." She wasn't sure if she should warn him of what might happen. He would have to know, right? Besides, Gil already had a foot out the door with elven society. It was quickly becoming an question of not if he would depart elven society but when. If that day would ever come, there would be . . . complications involved when it came to family dynamics. She didn't think Galad would ever abandon Gil, but societal expectations would dictate that he would.
But that was even saying that whatever existed between Gil and Van would last. She wasn't going to place bets though .It would've been unfair. It was simply a matter of waiting and seeing what developed.
"What made this development happen?" she asked, since she had not been privvy to those details.
