"Hey, that's why you would take a class on it," Mike said, shoving his hands into his pockets as they walked, "Minesweeper is pretty easy to dissect once you know the language. Though for me it's like . . . speaking a language more than writing it, you know? Anyway, I'm working on code that is less stressful to phone batteries, which is hard to do because you know new tech means more power and phone battery tech is constantly updating itself. I think I'm making some progress."
He was also trying to figure out how to approach the network in some manner. Figure out the right code to endear himself to it and maybe find his way in. That was a side project that wasn't getting anywhere though. The school's journal network was the most complex code he'd ever seen. Science wanted to make sense of it but the word "magic" might fit better.
