The Grounds: Drawing and finding eggs
"I've only found one so far," she said, still not completely sure if this was how a normal conversation with another student usually went. "I was planning on looking for more in a little bit." The idea of choosing the prom theme still on her mind as an incentive.
Kana had to remind herself that he was referring to the house. At least she hoped he was. She knew that people would be accepting of what she was at this place, but she was still not sure how she felt about kitsune. She had only had the one experience with them, but that experience was a mother who abandoned her. She nodded her head at his comment, not sure how to reply to it. Instead she just went to put her sketchbook back up, and then spotted another egg painted to look like the tuft of grass it was hidden in. She had to admit, that was clever. She picked it up and placed it carefully into the bag. "Two now," she commented aloud.
With his comment about the heat, her nerves began messing with her again. She tried to calm down. She couldn't exactly pop a pill in front of some guy she barely knew. For all she knew, he was one of those teacher's pets who loved getting others in trouble. "Yeah," she agreed even though she couldn't have felt the heat even if it was coming from the sun. The name finally came to her. Well not so much a name, but at least the memory. "You're banana guy."
