Up on the Rooftop - Hunting Eggs (open!)
As the rules were explained, Adrian, new to this, was whispering questions to his Ladon housemates.
"So they hide them everywhere?"
"Yeah, pretty much."
"Even outside?"
"Yeah, outside too."
"You think there's any on the roof?"
"The roof? Uh, I dunno... Be quiet, wouldja? I'm trying to listen."
By the time they were set free to look, Adrian had a plan. He had an advantage that most didn't. He could fly. Adrian hurried to his room. He ditched his shirt and shoes, pushed his wings out, and grabbed a small backpack to put eggs in. He opened his window and out he went.
Adrian flew straight up to the roof. He landed on the slanted surface, took a moment to right himself, then started to quickly move along the edge, looking in the rain gutters. He moved faster as he saw something in the gutter up ahead. Reaching it, he crouched down and picked out a green egg with yellow stripes across it. Adrian grinned. He didn't waste any time moving again and found another before he reached the end of the gutter. He still had other gutters and chimneys to check. If he was quick, he'd do very well for his house up here.
