Popcorn stand: Sasha & Open
Ever since the incident during the school play Sasha had tried to maintain a low profile. He'd considered not attending - or wokring on - the formal at all, especially since Mr Hartley had seemed so keen on banning him from going, but he'd wanted to make sure it was nice for Galad and Felicity, His friend had paid for so much of it, after all, and he wanted it to be special, as Galad had requested. He couldn't do that if he gave up the project, and it wasn't as if the rest of Hydra would want to pick up the slack.
It was a tempting thought, though.
In the end he'd forsaken his costume, staying on to put the finishing touches in place when everyone else was getting ready. He took the first spin on the carousel, tried the cotton candy and the funnel cake and even tested the ring toss, although he wasn't trying win anything. Ideally he would have preferred to do these things with his friends, but there was something about the idea of being present that made him uneasy. His costume, which he'd sold on to a standard from another house who was on a last minute outfit scrounge, was mostly white, and although it was unlikely that someone else would copy Caitlin's revenge, minimising the chance for further embarrassment was high on the half-demon's agenda.
Sasha lurked near the popcorn stand in a dark sweater, denim shorts and deep purple doc martens, his blond hair tied back in its usual ponytail and black socks pulled up to his knees. He was waiting for the queue to die down, checking his messages and scrolling through people's instagram posts about the formal to kill time until the coast was clear.
