Re: Within the Funhouse: Ryuuko & Wendy
A white shape appeared in the mirror. Its eyes seemed to be inky black, until the boy came into focus. It was Wendy.
He had tried to follow the theme of the dance, but without Sasha's guidance, he had not been able to navigate his way through all of the choice. In the end, he had gone with stripes: a suit and a scarf in bright colors. He and Lucia had gone into the Funhouse but Lucia had flitted off, while Wendy had been amused by all the moving parts in the house.
And then he had felt it, right in the pit of his stomach. Fear. Someone was afraid. But it felt... oddly familiar. Usually, fear made him feel giddy and excited, but now he felt... worried.
He followed that fear, but it took him a while to navigate his way through the Funhouse. When he was faced by a dizzying array of mirrors, he was momentarily confused, but then he looked down, seeing a crouched shape on the floor.
He picked up the plushie and settled besides his sister. "Ryuuko," he intoned, his voice soft and low, "are you okay?"
