Thread: A little time away
Who: Fred and Open Where: The Park When: Friday afternoon Warnings: TBD
Fred had been doing her part to help with setting up for the dance, but it was mainly out of the feeling of obligation. She could tell that it was a similar situation for many of the other Hydras. Of course there were some who wanted to show up all of the other houses too, but it seemed that most of Hydra was not too enthused by the fact they were supposed to do this. It wasn't too uncommon for many people in Hydra to not go to the dance, so it wasn't surprising that they weren't happy about helping to make the dance meaningful. Fred could tell that many of them were helping because Van was helping though. Despite the fact that he was an asshole most of the time, others still wanted him to like them. Fred wouldn't really be surprised if she had to cut the dumb fuck's head off some time in the future when he lost control again.
None of that really mattered though. There were much more important things on Fred's mind. She had a name for the person that was doing their best to fuck up her life. It sucked to not know for sure that something was her idea or not. Fred had been controlled too many times, and she hated it. She kind of wanted to kill everyone who had an ability to do that before they had a chance to abuse it. Just not even give them the chance. Do you have a power that can manipulate someone? Yes? Then you die.
She sat off by herself under the shade of a large tree playing the opening to Paint it Black on her guitar while she considered things. She honestly didn't think there was a point in going back to the school. The thing that caused her to doubt this was the fact that she wasn't entirely certain this was her idea. She had made a mental list of all the things she could be sure were not her ideas while she was with her cousin, but there were things that neither of them were sure about. Returning to school had been one of them, so they decided to air on the safe side and she returned after the break. She only had a few more weeks anyways, so there wasn't much point in not coming back. She just didn't expect to have to work on the stupid dance. She wasn't even planning on going to it. At one point she had thought of going to it with Haylie, but since that wasn't really in the cards now.
I see your red door, and I want it painted black No colors any more, I want them to turn black I see the girls walk by dressed in their summer clothes I have to turn my head until my darkness goes
She sang to herself, but no matter what if you sing well you attract an audience. It didn't matter though. She just continued the song.
