It was pretty ballsy of Fred to pin an angry and injured werewolf down. Even if the full moon was a week away, the heightened emotions of the fight and both Van's and Cheyenne's transformations only added fuel to a fire. He snarled at Fred, while two other werewolves attempted to pull her off him, believing her to be involved in the fight. There was so much going on that it was probably an honest mistake instead of just a failure to understand the obvious. But Blake was there, pinning them down and the pain started to set into Liam's bloodied wounds.
Ewan, on the other hand, was focusing on his brother. Van came rushing to the surface, his confusion evident in his expression but Ewan kept his hands on his brother's face, "Focus on me." Until Liam was taken away, it was best to keep Van in his sights. There was still a risk that the taste of the werewolf's blood and the scent in the air might pull his brother's kelpie out again.
No sooner had Cheyenne's viper struck, Cressida arrived. The students parted to let her in, almost as if they sensed her before her arrival. She observed the scene quickly, seeing Tanek on the floor and the cause of his state hissing loudly. Cressida looked to Cheyenne. She had sensed the danger through her familiar. It had drawn her out of her classroom and rushing through the hallways.
Icy blue eyes took in the scene. Ewan holding his brother's face, a bloodied Liam on the ground held down by Fred, a number of weres either unconscious or disabled for now, and a dead student before her. There was something horrifying still about a dead body. Students gasping at the sight of Tanek on the ground, and little comfort came in knowing that the boy would arise and go on his merry way again. Disturbing was one word for it.
"Everyone, go into the room of your last class. Any who do not go will receive a Saturday detention and be excluded from a school event of my choosing," she commanded, her voice cutting through the gasps and chatter. Some students lingered and others were trying to make an escape. Cressida caught the ones who had been involved and attempting to leave, demanding they stay put. She made her way to where Fred was and told the vampire, "Hold him for a moment longer." Then she turned her attention to her familiar as she placed her hands on Liam's wound.
"Cheyenne," she said, and reached out with her mind and emotions, calming the Cerberus through their connection but at the same time drawing magic through her. While Cheyenne was a plethora of ingredients for a spell, she was also Cressida's familiar. The magic swirled through the girl, focusing as Cressida spoke in an old Germanic tongue.
The magic unspooled as Cressida's words weaved a spell that cleaned the mess of blood on the ground and would temporarily ease Liam's pain until Mr. Pheres arrived. Liam felt a strange cooling sensation where his skin felt like it was on fire, and he started to calm. It tingled but felt good and he felt groggier by the second. Cressida nodded to Fred to take a step back and that she could take it from here.
"Fred, please, go get Mr. Pheres," she instructed the mentor of Hydra House. Two students were peeking out of a classroom and Cressida took one last tug of magic. She spoke in Greek, "Cease."The door they were peeking out from immediately closed, shutting them inside and preventing them from further documenting the scene just for views on the student network.
Out of the corner of her eye, she saw movement, "Mr. Hartley, it would appear that Jerry is rejoining us. You may want to restrain him."
