Liam's grip was like steel. Sasha quickly took his fangs from around the were's arm but the other boy kept on squeezing, his stubby fingers digging into soft column of the half-demon's neck. It hurt. It hurt a lot. His eyes were wide and he barely even registered Liam's spit hitting his face as he began to claw at the hand wrapped tightly around his neck which was stopping him from breathing. Sasha tried to pry Liam's fingers away from his throat but the were's hand just didn't budge.
This was a mistake.
Before Sasha could resort to using his tail, Van landed a hit to the side of Liam's head and the were finally let go. Sasha gagged and spluttered against the tile as he sought to peel himself off the ground, shuffling away from the main fight. And then he heard that terrible scream. Goosebumps broke out across his skin and he moved away a little faster, only pausing briefly to watch Van's kelpie teeth dig deep into Liam's flesh; he couldn't say the were didn't deserve it.
Then Cheyenne changed too, her three dog heads howling in unison. Most of the people involved in the fight could shift, but Sasha could not. He quickly backed himself up against the lockers out of the line of fire and rubbed a hand against his throat.
