Galad was walking with Felicity after class when students started running past them. Word of the fight had spread and the students all wanted to see. Up ahead, Galad could make out the fringes of the crowd and could hear the fight, smell the blood. His eyes lit up with interest and he started to quicken his steps, but stopped.
He still held Felicity's hand and he was duty bound to protect his lady. His lady and their child. A fight was no place for either of them. Galad heard the kelpie's scream and tightened his grip on Felicity's hand, his keen senses itching for a fight. Exchanging a look with her, no need for words, he nodded and they turned around to the other way. But Galad, before they were out of sight, glanced back at the crowd of students with longing. He'd want the details out of someone later.
