The time had come. Adri had gone out for a run as a cover. She had made it to the clearing and sat down in the grass. By the time that Pavel arrived, she still looked like she had been pulled out of a high-speed collision. Her breathing had steadied by the time that Pavel was in earshot, but the physical damage refusing to heal was still very apparent.
She looked up at Pavel with a small smile from her spot on the ground. What better way to tell him about her condition than allowing him to see her shortly after changing back to human form? She had stashed a pair of clothes to throw on after running over there, but she hadn't yet. Not like it wasn't anything Pavel hadn't seen, plus she didn't have the energy to care just yet. She wasn't going out of her way to expose herself, either. She definitely wasn't looking for anything like that.
"We both knew this was coming," she shrugged. "Things keep spilling out. We just need to sit down and talk."
