Courtyard: Dana, Lena, Neculai, and Open
Neculai's smile flickered with a few false starts before taking root on his lips. He nodded to Lena that he would introduce the two of them, provided Demetrius was willing. Nick didn't know the wizard very well on a personal level, but he seemed always busy and very important and powerful.
"It-- Sometimes, yes. I feel sad, or I feel self-conscious, especially around the people Sorin loved." Nick let his eyes fall and he kicked himself again.
Luckily, or unluckily, that was the moment Demetrius arrived. He seemed to, quite literally, step out of thin air into the courtyard. He slipped through the silver lined portal with ease and didn't look bothered by the startled looks from some of the other students and parents around. If someone were to describe the look of a wizard, it would not match how Demetrius was dressed. He wore a suit and black plastic rimmed glasses. His hair and beard were trimmed neatly. He didn't carry a staff or a wand or any other obvious magical paraphernalia.
Nick spotted him and stood up straighter, setting his jaw. "Demetrius," he nodded as the aged man approached them. "This is Dana, friend of Sorin. And this is Lena, Dana's family."
Demetrius turned sharp eyes on the two Dryads and nodded in greeting, offering a handshake to each one. "Pleasure. Please forgive me, but I've limited time in this realm. Neculai and I have much to catch up on."
