Courtyard: Kerr, Mr. & Mrs. Holden, Cascada, and Evelia Puig
She smirked and nodded. “Sounds like she’s a lot of fun.” Kerr could imaging a lot of people getting quite upset around her. God she really did have a one track mind didn’t she? “I have a feeling things are going to get real interesting when my father gets off his call.” She glanced over to the man. Her parents were overbearing in the ‘wanting her to fit a certain mold’ kind of way, not the ‘living vicariously through her’ way. If it were the later she might not mind but being expected to be a certain kind of way when she just didn’t fit was stifling. And it wasn’t even fully the clothing thing.
She could still hear her mother talking about jewelry, almost trying to get an ‘in’ on new items before anyone else. Kerr rolled her eyes slightly. A few moments later her father returned and approached the two girls. “Kerr, are you going to introduce me to you friend?” He said with expectation more than anything else.
Kerr sighed and shook her head slightly. “Dad, this is Cassie. She’s less a friend and more someone else who goes to the school.” She muttered. “Who’s guardian you ran into.”
Her father looked to Cassie and nodded. “It’s nice to meet a friend of my daughters. It’s good for her to be social with the right people.” He meant non humans. And since the majority at the school were either not human, or humans with abilities he considered anyone at the school must be better than the ‘riff raff’ she hung out with in London.
