Courtyard: Kerr, Mr. & Mrs. Holden, Cascada, and Evelia Puig
"That's because this wasn't my choice." Kerr said, glancing back at her mother. "It's not really my style." She tried not to show that the fact that the fact someone thought she looked nice in a dress grated at her as if an insult. Her disdain for her parents were throwing her off her normal vibe. She was quiet a lot but not outright angry like she was at that moment. Kerr sighed softly. "Parents can be bloody awful." Her own accent, compared to her parents was a lot less posh sounding.
"So... your guardian..." Kerr arched a brow at Cassie. She'd been watching, it's what she did. She watched people... a lot. Looked for buttons to push or strings to pull. Also, after her father walked off Evelia was giving off a certain feeling similar to pride. Of course her parents wouldn't have noticed, they themselves had much to much pride to think something like that could have happened. "She did something to my fathers wallet, didn't she?" Her voice was hushed and not angry, actually the opposite. Kerr never had a lot of leverage on her parents, so someone getting one over on them would be entertaining.
