Luncheon: Liam, Mr. Cabot, and Van, and Open
Van arriving was adding fuel to a fire quickly on its way to getting out of control. Liam wasn't sorry to see Van playing serving boy, but he wasn't happy about his presence at the table. Van was just a little bitch, in Liam's eyes, after saying he was going to dive and then pussed out. When Van dropped the food rather unceremoniously before Liam, it only pissed him off more. The fuckboi thought that something wasn't going to happen because there were teachers around?
Getting jostled only had him getting up out of his chair, but his dad grabbed him by the arm, squeezing tight enough that if Liam had been holding anything in his hand, he would've been forced to drop it. The other parents at the table didn't see anything but Liam halted and he glanced over his shoulder.
Liam probably would've stopped himself once he stood, but this had forced him to a halt. His jaw clenched tight and his dad said, "Sit, boy. I'm going to handle this."
Some parents might think it was a father protecting his son, but Liam knew better. Liam didn't need his dad stepping in for him because he was pretty sure he could handle Van. He was a kelpie, but it wouldn't be Liam's first brawl. Just his first fight in a while. He'd been behaving, for the most part.
His father didn't move from his chair, and instead spoke roughly, "Hey, kid. Get your ass back over here." Jason Cabot didn't stand up unless he had to, and he wasn't going to stand just yet.
