"Yeah, but it's not like it would take any actual skill to do that," Mike shot back, even though neither of them had every done something like that. It wasn't hard to dig into the interface of a GameBoy, so how much harder could a wall clock be? He kept his eyes glaring at Derrick though, not going to turn away like he might have to Van. Derrick was no Van.
He added, "What is your problem anyway? This wouldn't have happened if you didn't act like such a tool, you know." He was, of course, referring to them getting booted from the network rather forcefully. Had anyone else ever experienced that before? Maybe, but it hurt like hell. Just thinking about it made Mike's headache seem to strengthen.
Mike blamed Derrick for this, even if he was just as much at fault for it.
