Teddy rubbed the back of his neck and helped out with the preparation as best he could given that he wasn't entirely sure what he was doing. As Craig pulled out the knife and held it in his hands, Teddy thought about Dragon Age II and blood mages, and how things always went wrong when people used blood magic. But they were doing something good, right? So surely a little bit of blood wouldn't be too bad?
He bit his lower lip, facing an inner turmoil before he just shook his head, "I- I might miss out the blood magic this time round," he admitted shyly, "I'm not sure if that's- I don't think I should." Maybe when he was a little stronger as a witch, once he knew the scope of his own powers. After all, he was related to so many people, what if by using blood in his magic he ended up doing something to them?
No, he needed to know a bit more about blood magic first before he'd consider using it. He didn't want to hurt anyone.
"So... if you're going to add your blood, what happens now? It's the spell casting, right?" He gathered the last of the ingredients and the dreamcatchers that they had woven together earlier on that night, holding them against his chest carefully as he waited for the okay to put them down.
