Teddy had been quick to fall asleep when they'd decided to get a bit of rest, after all, he found it pretty easy to go to sleep if he lay his head down somewhere. He used to be found napping all over the place when he was really little; his mom and dad and big sister were forever picking him up from under the kitchen table, beside the washing machine or from inside the dog's bed (sometimes with the dog). He'd cut his finger when they were bending willow and doing some of the tricker stuff but Teddy had really enjoyed learning about the shapes and the intricate weaving that actually formed the dreamcatchers themselves. He could almost feel the magic in them in the way that they tingled against his fingertips.
When Craig shook him, Teddy was clearly reluctant to wake up and turned his face into the pillow and he let out a slightly unhappy sound that might have, if he had his hearing aids in, would have been a 'no, I don't wanna get up' but instead was just sort of an awkward moan before he realised he wasn't in his own bed and pushed himself upright, hair standing on end, mussed and bed-head like.
He tipped his head at Craig and offered him a tired smile, covering his yawn with one hand before he rubbed at his eyes, reaching for his hearing aides to stuff them back in his ears. As he did, the sounds of the room came swimming towards him.
"'s it time now?" he asked sleepily, trying to force his mind to wake up and join in the moment. He wasn't good at this, he really liked his sleep.
