As Adri walked into the office, the lingering smell of Pavel immediately hit her. The slight arousal came soon after, which made her stomach churn a bit. She wondered if he did this on purpose. He couldn't wait until the scent from Pavel began to fade away, so it wouldn't affect her like it was. However, this way? He was more than likely going to get a full confession out of her, and she was sure that was exactly what he was aiming for.
She knew that Kaden wasn't subtle, nor was he one to ever really beat around the bush. So when he jumped right into things, she wasn't surprised. In fact, she welcomed it. She sat down in the chair, feeling Pavel's warmth, closing her eyes for a moment. She hated this. It needed to come out, though. "The simple version is that I didn't feel like it was my secret to tell." Cliche, but true. She then held up her index finger as she took a deep breath, hoping to continue her explanation/plea. "I don't know the entire story, but he really didn't want you, as well as the rest of the staff, to know. I only went with this because I truly felt like I was in control. The first time I handled it just fine," she wasn't about to go into the details. Mainly because despite the fact that she was almost eighteen, he had no business knowing about her sex life outside of this. "It's worse this time, though. I didn't realize it until after I blamed my illness on my condition. I actually had gotten better for a good week or so before he asked me if someone had contacted me anonymously. I've been pretty stressed since then."
She didn't believe that she was going to get off scot-free with this explanation, but it was the truth, and that was the most important. Simply getting that much out made her feel a lot better. She wasn't sure how much Pavel had told him, but she wanted to get her side out in full, no matter what it took.
