"Let's go for a walk then," Cressida said, standing and the leading Alicia to the door. Glass frames were one thing but there were a few other items that would best be left in their state becaues replacing them would be difficult. Like the very tea set that Alicia and Cressida were drinking from.
Once they were outdoors and walking, Cressida felt it was time to speak, "I had hoped after you absence of a week that you had received help from your mentors at the time or from the acting Head of House for Kitsune. I suppose I may have expected too much of them in that regard. Just because a student isn't obviously having trouble anymore doesn't mean that they are not plagued." She stopped near a tree and turned to face Alicia.
"Being a mentor doesn't mean you are the one who has to carry all the burdens of others and you have no one to talk to. There are co-mentors for a reason, Alicia. Two of you, where one can rely on the other should she or he need help. In addition to that, it is your Head of House's job to deal with the responsibities of a full plate. It is not a position made for people who are easily overwhelmed. Ms. Williams is there for you as much as she is for Tanek and Davian and whatever else Kitsune do.
"You help her as a mentor but you don't ignore you either. You've been carrying this long before you were a mentor, haven't you?"
