Alicia heard the words spoken but it was so difficult not to hold it in. First off, it was destructive, second she hated not being in control of her abilities and third, she had been forcing it down for so long, it was habit. Truth be told, she certainly didn't want to be having a meltdown in front of a teacher at all...but it finally wore down on her.
"N-not really." she answered. "I spoke to...or rather Mr. Heartly spoke to me, about it briefly when...." she pauses as more magic slipped out of her control and there was another shattering sound. "Sorry....when Boo told me she wasn't coming back....and I missed classes for a week." she answered, curious if Cress had noticed her missing, that week a year ago.
"Mentors? No, I'm supposed to be the mentor." she added, giving a little hysterical laugh, complete with another shattering sound. "Ms. Williams....she means well...but what am I supposed to say to her? She wasn't here when Boo and I were dating, or in the aftermath of her leaving. Plus, with everything this year, Sorin dying, Tanek being a wreck, Davian repeating his Expert year, plus just the usual Kitsune tomfoolery, we haven't made it easy on her....I don't want to add more to her plate, when I'm supposed to be taking some off." she explained. Really? Who was she supposed to talk to? Fred and Hayden knew she was upset....though not this upset and neither were the type to have a therapy session with. The all to familiar sound of something shattering came once more.
"I-I need to get out of here, before I break everything in your office. I'm sorry..." she said, standing up and preparing to run.
