Mike wasn't sure what was going on anymore. One second Sasha was talking to him about fucking and Mike pretending he was a girl but then the next he was asking why Mike was moving away when he wanted to watch the movie. He didn't want to be there anymore, he knew that for sure, because things got really weird and now there was a major awkward feeling in the room. Sasha took a couple of steps back and Mike was ready to start gathering his stuff and head out.
Before he could get started on that, Sasha was apologizing. Mike still wanted to go but Sasha's words tugged at him. Whatever was going on with Sasha, the apology sounded genuine. The way he moved back to the couch and curled up. Mike stood there feeling helpless. He could say his gut reaction and just leave but he didn't want to be a jerk. Sasha . . . the conversations that Mike had with him . . .
"It's OK," Mike said and then added, "I mean , it's not OK that you did it but I accept your apology. It just really threw me off. We're friends but we're not the sort of friends who do that. I won't tell everyone, I promise." He would tell Derrick though and swear him to secrecy on it. It wouldn't just be embarraassing for Sasha but for Mike too. Nobody won if this got spread around like the chicken pox.
He scratched the back of his head, still standing awkwardly, "You OK though?"
