Happy Turkey Day
Who: Kristen, Katherine and Branson family(NPCs) Where: Branson home When: November 23rd, 2017 :Thanksgiving What: Turkey day, Kristen meeting her girlfriend's family. Rating: Low to moderate
Kristen gave herself another once over in the guest bedroom where she was staying, making sure she was presentable. She wanted to make sure she looked acceptable for dinner.
She had never really done Thanksgiving dinner before. When her parents were still alive, they were usually busy and Kristen usually just stayed at school. Now with her parents dead, she certainly didn't want to go home to Ms. Heather either. So, really this was her first Thanksgiving with a family.
The Branson's seemed very nice indeed. Kristen liked them alot. Still, her anxiety made her feel as if they didn't think she was good enough for Katherine. She was a monster after all, so she supposed it was deserved. Kristen did her best to shake those thoughts, as she knew it was probably just her poor self-esteem, but it was still difficult.
She was wearing a dark red, calf length skirt and a white top. Her hair was worn down, though the usual crimps from where her hair was usually braided were still slightly visible, despite alot of washing, and brushing. She wore a little bit of make up. Not so much that it would immediately be noticeable, but just enough to bring some color to her face. The combination of being naturally pale with her Irish heritage and then being a vampire, she really didn't like how pale she usually was. She had started doing so, more and more since dating Katherine. She always wanted to look nice for her girlfriend.
Once she was satisfied that she looked presentable(which was very difficult, not being able to see her reflection in a mirror) she exited the guest room and set off to find where everyone else was.
Thanksgiving was a bit strange, it seemed odd to be preparing the meal so early in the day, but she was just going to go with it.
