To say that she had not wanted to get in contact with Rory was like saying she didn't want to stick her hand in a bucket full of glass shards. Similar to the bucket of glass, she was left with a great many slivers of pain that would likely take some time to heal again. Before Dallas, she had only been in a serious relationship with one other person, and that was Rory. He was the reason she kept her distance from Gancanagh. She knew that it was a bit harsh to judge all others for what he did, but she still held resentment towards that fée.
As soon as she had finished talking with the other teachers she had been out. Why did it seem like she could just not have an easy year? She had managed to move past her feelings for Dallas only to have the wound from Rory resurface.
"I am sorry about what I did to you, Love."
Why couldn't he have just answered her questions and hung up. Why did he have to act so... annoying?... so... charming.
She wasn't exactly certain why she had come to the door she was at. It was just where she ended up. She just didn't want to be alone. She needed to let out some of her emotions, and he had always been so kind to her. She knew she wasn't in the best frame of mind to be good company, but her hand was knocking at the door anyways.
