He nodded with a small smile and continued into the kitchen to put on some coffee. There was a part of him that expected her to take the moment to flee as he waited for the coffee to brew- he wouldn't blame her. He was fully aware of the shame and embarrassment that came with drinking. He definitely didn't mean to 'trap' her with hospitality as well if she felt more comfortable just leaving.
Once the coffee was ready he poured two cups and placed them on a small tray on his lap before returning to the living area. He placed the tray on the table, it also had two containers with cream and sugar. "Take a moment. Let you're head clear." Elias advised. "Then you can take off." He added to let her know he was aware she wanted to flee and he was okay when she did. He picked up his cup and leaned back in his chair. His pants, hands and even his forearms were littered with paint smears. "I should get back to work. You take your time."
